Sunday Morning Service 10:45
We would love for you to join us during our current sermon series, "Psalms: the Sacred Hymns of the Scriptures."
Charles Spurgeon notes that there was a time when the Psalms took such priority in the church that no man could be ordained into the ministry unless he could quote them all "end to end," and that you couldn't travel through the countryside without hearing even the most common of laborers singing the "Hallelujahs of David."
Psalms of praise, Psalms of lament, Psalms of joy, even Psalms of vengeance and justice. This ancient hymnbook from God's Word is certainly worth looking deeply into!
Wednesday Evening Service 6:00
On Wednesday nights, we meet from 6:00-7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall (North Entrance) for an open discussion Bible study. Our current study is over 1 Peter, the Apostle Peter's letter to the Christians dispersed throughout parts of the Roman Empire.
For this study, we are using the "Life Change" series, put out by the Navigators organization, or NavPress. This is a wonderful, in-depth study of the context, meaning, and application of the letter of 1 Peter.
We would love for you to join us!!
